Revolving Carvine rig being used

Here are some photos of my revolving carbine.  This is just one of the positions tie rig can be worn. You can use just the holster carrying frog, or add the holste to protect barrel. As you see you rotate the carbine nose upward and draw it out.  There is a "D" ring in the back of the frog that allows the pivot.  Works very well.  The sling is just a 1 1/2 inch strap with a buckle in the back and fastened to the "D" ring with thongs.  I am working on a hood for it and possibly a cartridge slide for the sling.

Actually if you use just the frog without the holster you can do just that.  I f you are using black powder you will make a hell of a mess in the frog.  Cartridges make a lot less mess.  I've done it and it works. Thanks for the reply.
