Couple of questions.

Is the 1849 Colt pocket pistol (with the 4" barrel) considered a pocket pistol by NCOWS standards?

How about if it has one of those conversion cylinders for cartridge ammo installed?

If the answers are yes to those two questions, then does it matter if it has the 5 shot or 6 shot conversion?

Thanks

The 49 model w/ 4" barrel should be a fine PP , I don't believe the cyl capacity should matter.  jt

Some pocket pistols had 5 and 6 shots. For instance, the H&R .38's were 5 shot and the .32's were 6 shot.

My Osgood (1880s) is a nine shooter.  Eight .22s and a .32 rimfire.  Kinda like a baby LeMat.

I thought about writing a stage that required you to load your Pocket Pistol with 8 rounds with hammer down on an empty chamber.  ;D ;D

How about a compromise?  Load six with hammer down on an empty chamber.  S & W # 1s are seven shooters.

Or a gamblers class.  Load two pocket pistols with 6 rounds each, hammers down on empty chambers. ;D ;D ;D

Some people may choose to handicap themselves with 5 and 6 shooters.  ;D ;) ;D

We could pair it with my Evans carbine and write the stage for 28 rifle rounds, no reloads allowed  ;D
