Hawes pistols and Goex fffg

My journey to The Dark Side continues.....

Took both my pistols and my 66 ta the range today.  Ran 25 rounds of Goex fffg under Snakebite big lube bullets in 38 spec cases through each pistol, (they are Hawes pistols in 357).  Both ran acceptably, my junky one started to bind a touch after 15 rounds but a couple drops a gun butter,(just come in the mail today, THANKS Marshall) freed her back up, my good one didn't run any different than usual.  I shot at 10 yards cuz our local club is usually 10 or less, dependin on who's settin the targets.  My junk pistol put em into 2-1/2" (25 rounds) 1" left and 2" high.  My good pistol put em into 2-1/2" but 2" right of poa.  Don't guess thats anything spectacular in the accuracy department, but its adequate for my needs.  If'n I cud get im ta breed, the pups might shoot jest an inch high?  The center pin on the junker needed freein up ta get er out, the other come out real peacable.  So, there ya have it, my Hawes run fine on Goex. Ymmv.
The 66 was terrifically fun ta shoot with bp. Gunna be a great excuse ta practice more.
