I was watching Lonesome Dove again the other night when lo and behold the leader of the hoss thiefs was using a Remington Revolving Carbine. His off hand was supporting the barrel in front of the cylinder.  Of course he was wearing a heavy glove.  They hung him. Couldn't have been all bad.  Had good taste in shootery.  Carbine looked great. He looked dead.

Now holding one of these carbines in front of the cylinder is a bad thing, but a hangin' offense?  That is a bit harsh.

Triggersmith

Well, he did shoot a couple of sodbusters and had a real mean mouth on him. Using the carbine to shoot the sodbusters I believe is a hangin' offense.

He shot the sodbusters with a pistol, he shot the coboy(S) with the horses with the Carbine.

Pretty good memory too HUH?! I haven't seen Lonsome Dove for a while, my copy, vhs, is about worn out from watching it once a month since it came out. Tombstone is the same way, along with Quigley! LOL
BTW Gus' Walker was a conversion!

I kind of thought it was a conversion when he asked for a box of cartridges to go chase Blue Duck.   Course he did carry that Henry too.
