new person wanting to join STORM

Dear Sir;
             Thank you for answering my earlier message concerning joining the group. I have an interest in early cartridge conversion revolvers very much. Ever since I acquired my 1851 navy in .38,[ I was wanting use it more in cas. Although I am starting over again in cas, my pistols were stolen in a divorce, leaving only my shotgun and a 1873 Winchester].
              My desire is to portray an mid-to late 1870's frontiersman, scout for for the army and a man who kicked around the west doing just anything to make a living.
              This is where carrying a an early cartridge gun would be useful. Since Colt 1873 Peacemaker were not readily available to civilians till around 1876, a pistol like this would be most likely to be carried around.

I'm going to answer here as well as email him.. cause I think the information will be helpful to others.

First, we only register SASS aliases or real names.  If Mr. Shafer can prove that he is the "owner" of Monte Walsh as an alias, then I'll be glad to use the same, otherwise, he'll need to use Warren Shafer.

Second, to be a Rider of the STORM, you must own the guns.  You must shoot the guns.  They must become part of your family.. (ok, not the last part).   Being a fan of the guns isn't enough, you gotta be a player.
