Guns Garrett

Express rider dropped the Jan/Feb Shootist off today. Great collage of Muster photos for the cover!The "Night Fire" is impressive, and the "Cannon Shot" is just awsome!  You had perfect timing on that, George.  Notice how I ducked down behind the gun, so as not to distract from the central theme?  (That sounds better than saying I didn't know I was getting photographed).

Great photos, I agree!

That night shoot was a hoot!

I loved the cannon.  I guess nobody caught my moment of glory when I got to pull the lanyard, but I'll never forget it anyway.

Howdy,

Haven't got mine yet    >:(  Saw a copy of the cover at Books' book store yesterday.  He said that George got that shot on the closing gun, the 4th try.  It is a truely wonderful picture.  Great job Lone Gunman!!! ::)

Lou;

LG took a photo of every shot with the howitzer.  He used the one where he got the best muzzle flash.  If you email him, I am sure he will send you a copy of the one where you pulled the lanyard.

Slim's personal version of Shock and Awe.  I was standing at the left end of that line and I didnt even feel my recoil when the blast wave went off.
