Dimensions for Armi Sport reloads

  Anyone out there have any information about acceptable cartridge lenth for my 56-50 reloads? I want them to cycle smooth so I would like to know the maximum lenth. Also anyone know a good source for pre sized 350 grian flatnose bullets? Buffalo Arms is temporarily out of stock and I really want to shoot my new toy soon. Abanaki

You could start with 1.6" OA.  I've loaded from 1.52-1.67 with no problem.  I use both the Lyman and Dakota Widowmaker's bullets.  The Lyman casts at 350 and DW's at 355.  for the Lyman I crimp in the crimping groove and DW's I crimp on the front driving band.

I get really realiable feeding with my bullets and 1.62" and they work well.

Cycle the action smoothly and quickly for best results.
