Iver Johnson Model 1900?

Howdy,

My Grandfather used to carry an IJ Model 1900 when he worked for the railroad years ago. I searched for some info on this model on the web, and found out there was a book on IJ that used and out of print is for sale at about $750+, and a new book not yet out. Anybody have any info on this affordable piece of pocket artillery?  The Blue Book of Gun Values suggests it's worth about $50- so $750 for the book seems a bit much to pay for enlightenment.
