Two Flints

Hi SSS,

I know that this is repeat of an earlier post, but the other one doesn't have any photos :-\ :-\ :-\

PLEASE, ONLY PHOTOS, AND GIVE COMPLETE DESCRIPTIONS OF FIREARMS & LEATHER.

If you would be willing to Email me (fsgrand2@pivot.net) a photo of your Spencer with the SA Revolver and holsters that you wear at CAS matches, I'd be mighty proud to post them here for you, or you can do it yourself in this thread.  It would be very interesting to see the different "looks" that go along with the Spencer.

Here is a picture of me at the match last Sunday.  The holster has an Uberti Schofield.  The saber was carried in the movie Gettysburg by Judge Hemp, SSS#44.  I bought it from him last year to finish my outfit.

This is a photo of my shooting gear.  At the top is a genuine 12 gauge Spencer pump shotgun with a shortened barrel, recently purchased in terrible non-working condition, and restored to life and in shooting condition by SSS member Choupique;  Next is my Taylor Spencer in .45 Schofield configuration; Finally, my Smith & Wesson Schofields (also .45 Schofield configuration) are holstered in a Slim Jim rig by Rick Bachman of Old West Reproductions.

Here is my:
TTN 1878 shotgun in 12 guage
Taylor's Spencer in 44-40
Uberti Regulator in .45
Cimarron 7th Cavalry in .45

I won the holster from Shoot Magazine's online survey and drawing.  This was the second place prize, but I think I really came out on top.  First place was a new Uberti revolver.  This holster was made to order from Kirkpatrick leather.  They gave me a price limit (over the limit was to come out of my pocket, but I didn't go over) and asked what I wanted.  Everything is suede lined and the holsters have a beautiful floral design, but it is hard to see in the picture.
