Where is the best place to buy USFA parts as I see that Gun Parts Corp has them for sale too?

RRio

I would make sure they are in fact parts made by USFA and not "generic" parts. Are the prices cheaper?

Brownell's carries USFA parts. Look on their Factory Gun Parts page and click on the USFA Logo.

You might also try going directly to USFA.  Although I don't have it at hand, I seem to recall having one of their retail price lists that included parts prices.

I went to the US FA website and they won't tell you how much shipping is until you place the order.  I'd rather know what the shipping is going to be first, so I sent them an e-mail and they said shipping was $10.00.  Since the parts are cheapest at US FA I may go that route.

If you compare the USFA parts prices on their web site and the same parts on Brownell's web site, you'll find them the same and Brownell's offers $3.95 PP 1st class shipping rate for small parts. I just bought some USFA base pin bushings from them.

I am going to check them out and of that is the case, I will order from Brownells.

Virginia Gentleman

I ended up placing the order with Brownells since they gave me a discount for having an FFL.  They shaved off anywhere from 10-30% and their shipping was less to boot.

Howdy,

i use brownells whenever possible.  i have ahd trouble too many times with getting the wrong part from gunparts, often a part not applicable to the model of gun i need a part for.  and they can be difficult to return parts to.  brownells has been entirely satisfactory.

I have been getting my USFA parts from USFA.  Brownell's is my second choice.  USFA has responded fairly quickly, and has been correctly filling my order with the requested parts.  I have had good luck with Brownell's as well.
