Uberti VS Pietta parts.

Hello.

I have a Q.here it come.
Have any one of you tried to change gun parts betwen 2 difference gunmakers.
I have one pietta revolver and I wondering if I can put a backstrap/triggerguard from a uberti revolver on my Pietta revolver.hope you understand what I mean.

Cole,
Yes the back strap, trigger guards will fit. As far as the internals, some of them are interchangable, but the screws may not be the same. The early Uberti's used different threads then the Piettas but I think the newer models use the same screw threads...

The only model that I have in both is the 1851 Navy.  The Pietta pistol is larger than the Uberti.  If the screw holes did line up the frame is a different size in width.
