One of the really nice things about shooting smokey ammo is that you never have to worry about running over the RO, especially when the wind is in your face.

Now and then I do look behind me during a stage. Always see the RO standing way back there, holding his arm streched way out toward me holding the timer. If I don't happen to notice that outstreched arm I cannot tell which is the RO and which are the other posse members. Now, in this case, a nice green-dusted RO would not be confussed with other posse members.

Sod Buster,

That photo makes me think the green smoke might not be the kind that Lucky Irish Tom was wanting. Makes me think the shooter has become the target and that someone broke the 170 quite deliberately.

Hmmmmm, drop a green smoke bomb at my feet so the RO and spotters can't see the targets, as long as it goes ding its a hit, right! ::) ;D

Tom, don't have a recipe for green smoke, but would and Irish Soda Bread recipe in Cosie's Corner help. ;D

I could also play "White, Orange and Green" fer ya on the CD player. ;D

I'm of English desent, but they kicked my folks out of England in the 1630's. ;D  Part of the family kicked them out of here in the 1770's and 1780's, the rest went north after the Redcoasts left, ain't heard from that part of the family since, they never wrote. ::)

Hmmph. I have seen some bright green sidewalk chack for kids to draw stuff on sidewalks and driveways. I figure some o' that, and a  hammer will do the trick. There is one RO at my home club that is always griping about my loads bein' too strong, anyway. It is too late this year, I don't have time to get some before Sunday's shoot and load up the ammo, I'll have to think about it for next year.
Are there any Northern Irish holidays coming? I'm sure that there is also some orange chalk.
Oh, well, welcome to being some kind o' poobah, Tom.
