 I can buy a pair of cimarron opentops in 38 special 5 1/2 barrel cons. ser numbers for  $840 is this a good deal is this a good calibre to buy this particular5 gun in. Thanks Sweetooth

If these are NIB, I'd say yes to the price. My own 45 Sch. listed $492 with shipping ( * though I traded 2 Uberti Rem. straight up for mine)
Even if they are slightly used thats what ? $420 each not to bad.

As to Caliber, yeah.... especially if your already in battery with 38's. ( I.E. your Levergun )
Easy to shoot, load, buy and popular CAS caliber.

While not a steal.. that is a fair price for a pair of guns that can be hard to find.
If you like them, buy them.  You will forget the price you paid quickly as you enjoy the finest pointing gun in all of CAS.

 Thanks and its good to here an experienced shooter say they are the finest pointing gun in cas. Heck I knew I was going to buy them when I saw them..  I was surprised they lasted this long.
