Just got home from shooting with Tracy Thorpe and crew up in Indianola.  The range was awesome, the stages were a mix between "stand and deliver" and the being gamey, but in a different way ;)

Needless to say, I had a ball, especially since this is the first shoot since my hospitalization.  I was rusty, but this shoot was a great shake down....Thanks all.

Major, I'm glad you & Trap came up. That's 5 yrs. I think I've shot with Trap at each Coyote Gulch and always appreciate his wry humor.   :)

Thanks Tracy and Sandy, a great time as always.   Major Matt was on our posse and I must say, approached the stages aggressively.  Good to see Trap also, and other old friends.  This was a good tune up for the Nationals.

Have to agree with the above posts, Great shoot. A nice mix of stages, some run and gun, some with more precision called for. Good people, good weather and excellant meals. What more can a WAS shooter expect. This is one shoot that will never be left off my calender. I encourage everyone to add this one to your list for next year. Al.

Cuts Crooked

Although I didn't shoot this year for various reasons, I stopped by and visisted a bit on Saturday. Looked to me like folks were having a great time! 8)

It was good to see and visit with pards that I don't get to spend time much around very often! Thanx FDMR for putting this one on!

Lone Gunman

I really hated to miss it this year, I've won a plaque every time  ;) , but with the National in Kentucky next week I just couldn't pull off two big shoots so close together  :'(     It is indeed a great shoot...well, it would be a little better if we could kill those birds that scream around the primitive camp all night long  ::) .
