I have always liked the lever action rifles of the old west. I have avoided the Henrys and 1866's as you can't find ammunition to shoot in them, I did finally find both original guns. I bought the 1866 SRC and it is a late model centerfire rifle and seems to be very scarce in a factory centerfire. The henry, I am still waiting on a price to see if I can get it too...

I never considered myself a failure...I started out at the bottom and happen to like it here!

N.S.S.A. marked Brass frame with buckhorn rear sight in 44-40.
And my "new to me" 1st model Improved Henry 150yr anniversary in 45 Colt.

No polishing here though.
