'66 musket on gunbroker

Just going by the photographs, appears to have been lightly used and well cared for.  The current bid is WAY low and I would think the seller has a "reserve" on the item.

It says no reserve, and the auction was started at a penny.  But it will go up in the next 9 days.

That could be tempting, thank you. Unfortunately, the shop has something against selling to buyers from Illinois. Beats me why. That rifle doesn't run afoul of any of the True Blue Gun Bans here.

Wow, there are 11 different states they won't sell to.  And shipping is $70 if they will sell to you.

Oh well, a fellow here posted a photo of his '66 musket built recently for him via special order through Taylor's.

Hmmm, the standard carbine with the rifle buttstock would be spiffy...
