I have a Shiloh 1863 Sharps rifle and would like to request that a Pedersoli owner to look at the slide (breech block) under the nipple. Mine has a hole that is about as small as the exit hole of the nipple. Here's mine to show what I'm wanting to learn. This my second Shiloh 63 and this one as well as the first one has given very good service.

My Dear Kent

Sorry for the thread zombie action....

I cannot attest to the Shiloh Sharps percussion block, but my cheap IAB has an almost identical diameter
Hole.

I would like to suggest that you ask at the Civil War re-enactors forums
