Howdy all
I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of my Cimarron carbine in .45 Colt, now that I seem to have it functioning like it should.
I returned it to Cimarron and upon return it was much better. At that time I ordered a custom mold from 'Tom' at Accurate Molds. It seems that this bullet design was just what I needed in my so far limited tests. Within the next week I plan a more extensive test. Anyhow..........here are a couple pictures.

I sure am  and I appreciate the offer but he said he would do it. I guess I need to reduce the pixel size or something but I'm a computer illiterate.

Great news:
Please share which Accurate mould and the requested diameter to which you asked it cast.  Thanks.

Wow, that's the nicest wood I've seen on a Spencer!

Yes, it is beautiful for sure. I had reservations about sending it back for repairs as to not getting the same carbine or wood back.
Thank you........Macon

The Accurate Mold that 'Tom' made for me was a custom I asked for. It is now of course a catalog item. The number is....45-240E and I set the OAL to 1.585-1.590" with this bullet.
I have not got to shoot my carbine yet with this bullet but I did load 7 dummy rounds with this bullet. I ran those 7 rds. thru the carbine 5 times. I ran them thru working the action quickly, I ran them thru working the action less vigorously, I ran them thru hesitating at the bottom of the lever stroke and at the top to start a new cycle, I also ran them through working the action slowly. The 5th run thru I had one rd. that I had to just barely jiggle the lever and it fed. All other rds. on each run through fed as slick and smooth as my 1860 Uberti Henry By that run thru the bullet noses had been beat up quite a bit. I was so pleased with it that I had a big grin! Now........as long as it feeds that well with live firing I will be one happy camper !

Sorry ,I forgot the as cast diameter part. I asked for .452"-.453" as cast from wheel weights.
