I've got a reproduction Pietta made Captain Schaeffer .36 caliber navy with 4" barrel. Here is the original pistol it's based on:

This holster is original to the gun. I'd love to have a repro of this holster made. Can anyone here recommend any leather workers that are currently taking work and who might be open for a project such as this?

Thanks!

I think that's a very beautiful holster. One of our forum members, Major2, has one based on that pattern.

Look at reply #66 in this thread. I am not sure if he made it himself or had it made. He might be able to steer you in the right direction.

Otherwise, you might get a reply or PM from one of the pros on this forum. There are some seriously talented leather workers here.

Thanks, I messaged him and had sold it. So still looking!

Okey-doke. Perhaps one of the other workers on here will see this thread and reply to it. Give it a few days. Not all forum members are on every day.

This is an original "Slipper" holster and cartridge belt, that I had in my collection.  Belt is .44 caliber.

Is the strap part one piece from the back or is it a seperate piece attached some way?

The half flap was part of the holster body on this one.

Thanks. I assumed it was but you just never know.
