I think I have identified the problem…

Y'all are bored! (I hope not boring...)

Just as is needed for a good story, you're missing several elements on this board:

  • Conflict (not necessarily bad)
  • A  protagonist
  • A dilemma!
  • A build to a climax
  • And finally an outcome (or perhaps more conflict!)  we can make it a multiple volume series.  Maybe like the Serials I used to look forward to at the theater every Saturday!
I don't know how many books I downloaded the last two years (I had a limited access) and then deleted them after a few chapters because they had none of those elements.  You get desperate when away from home and cutoff, but even I have standards.  Nothing worse than a predictable nambie pambie story... I was thinking about that just today since i can download directly from Amazon once again.  You don't know fortunate we are ( I realize it more every year).

Well, in the land of the dead, a zombie can run amok.

I invite you to join me, or oppose me (either fits the requirements).

I'm not too sure how much conflict is there, because he ADMITS to shooting mouse fart loads.   :)

Well

Truth be known, I am both a miser and a hoarder.
I believe than 2 is one and 1 is none.
So I didna wanna shoot anything I did not have to until I could replace the stockpile of primers.

When cartridges were hard to come by, but .22 CB Was available, I used that to shoot in the back yard.
Good for trigget time, practice, and very quiet.

When .22 LR became unavailable, I reamed one cylinder and a single shot barrel to accept 209 shotshell primers.
Those things are powerful! They drove a .22 lead bullet just fine, and when I modified a steel 7.62x39 case to accept them I Had a new single shot gallery rifle driving a well lubed .30 lead bullet enough to stick in a 2x4 .

More backyard range time

When powder was short, and I couldna' get to a range I drilled out old case primer holes and reinvented "wax loads"
Using LPP. Cast up the bullet of your choice using Hot Glue, load into a modified case, and bobs yer uncle.
For the price of 100 primers and some cases that had split mouths ( just trim first) I hav 100 Gallery loads I could shoot indoors, the basement, the garage, or outside if not breezy. Quite accurate also.
And the hotglue bullets can be reused....

Then primers dried up, so I broke down and bought a an "airsoft" 1911. And an "airsoft" 1873 colt revolver replicas.
Technically they actually shoot bb's

I set up reduced size knockdowns made of rigid foam boards inside extra heavy cardboard boxes.

Back to shooting in the garage again, for the price of CO2 cartridges! The steel bb's stay in the box and can be reused! Bonus - can safely practice draw, prsent, fire from the holster . Worst case, get stung by the bb
As long as yer wearing heavy jeans.

Sooooooo

since I am shooting tiny .17 cal bb's ,  using gas
Technically I Myself am shooting tru Mouse Farts!
