I am shooting again  a Spencer that has been in my hands for years.
56 50 carbine, nice condition,  sn 1938 on tang, 320 number deeply stamped in the butt stock near the rear.

     it has the stabler cutoff.

any thoughts as to where it may have been issued?
thanks...Ken

Ken,

I sent you a PM to email me your serial #.

I need a photo of your Spencer, please post a few.

Check under the wooden forearm, on the underside of the barrel you will find the serial # . . . make sure it is the same as the serial # at the top of the receiver. Need a photo of the top of the receiver that shows all markings, lettering and numbers.
