I wanted to try another holster with a single bead and some roll embossing to give it an 1880s look. For the bead, I used my newly modified stitch groover and ran it a little farther from the edge than I normally would. This is the first time I've tried my roll stamp. Everything came out fine.

Wonderfully done as always.

Thank you, Rube. I must admit, though, that I think I like this Gallup-ish design with less decoration on it. Like this one I made a short while ago.

For comparison, here's a similar photo of this one.

Another beautiful job. This is my kind of Holster.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Thanks, John. More and more I really like the simple design of an uncluttered Slim Jim.

I am not sure which style I like better. For me personally I usually like very little "extra" on my holsters so I may lean towards the plainer version but even this version is not over the top flashy and very tastefully done.

Thanks, Rube. You're right, it doesn't take much to make a holster look good.
