I just picked up a new to me armi sport in 56-50. I am thrilled to have found it on my local gun store and at a good price. I think it was made in 2003 by the proof mark. Any information that anyone would like to share would be welcomed. It came with a Blakeslee box with 6 tunes full of blanks. It cycles those fine and the trigger I'd 8 pounds which seems good compared to others I've read about. Has anyone know if there's any way to shoot live rounds out of the blank brass? Any good sources for bullets? I don't really have the time to invest in casting. Also, my Blakeslee box says Blakeslee and the patent date on it. Any idea who makes this box? What about the blanks?

Congratulations! Mine is likely very similar to yours and it is great fun to shoot.  I'm afraid that I can't answer any of your questions, though.  I've always cast my own bullets and I've never fired blanks.  Some more pictures of the gun and Blakeslee box would be most welcome and possibly helpful.

I will be adding more photos once I have time to size them down. I thought I could just add them when I made the post.

I was hoping to find rcbs dies as they seem to be preferred but they don't seem to be available anymore

I recently bought armi sports 56-50 I used the Lyman dies as they were the only one available at Buffalo Arms , bought casing from Starline and bullets from Montana.
Loaded 8 gr by weight of Trail Boss and all 3 of my test rounds went boom  ;D
Also the total size of the bullet I kept between 1.48 to 1.51 inches.
So Lyman will work for sure.

RCBS dies are still available.  I got mine and a #31 shell holder straight RCBS.  Midway had the RCBS dies and #31 shell holder in stock late last week.

Look again. RCBS as well as others have them in stock now. I have a set and they work well.

I bought my expander plug from Buffalo Arms once I slugged the barrel and knew what size bullets it liked.
