Another 30 inch barrel bites the dust. Cut down the bbl on a mixed up Wards/Stevens 620A. Had to beat the barrel off the gun initially. Not the correct barrel for the recvr, not even close. After a few days of using a marker to coat the splines, drive the barrel into the recvr, drive it back out and look for ink transfer, file or sand the high spot and then repeat. I finally got it to mount and dismount by hand. Cut the barrel down to 20 inch riotgun length today. Used my buds facing tools again. Dumb thing was the odd trenchgun build barrel slips right on the 620 recvr. Need a bead next.

Neither, it's a Riverside/Stevens 520-30 field gun. I'm leaving the 30 inch barrel uncut but will do a trenchgun out of the extra barrel.
