Let us know when your barrel/gun arrives .  I read that you had other parts worked on besides the barrel replacement . What all did you have done ? And are they installing the new barrel ? Hope it all works out for you .If your 50 shoot's as good as mine does ,  you will like it . Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your rifle . Good luck Amigo ,,,,DT

I sent my barreled action to them. About a month later I sent all my blued parts down so they could rust blue all of them plus the barrel. That way they would all match. They said they have Winchesters original formula. Since this whole process was taking way longer than they told me, I asked to have my parts sent back since I now can rust blue just like I do browning of muzzleloaders. That was months ago. Part of my frustration. Yes they are installing the barrel.

Got my tracking number today. Two packages so I'm assuming this means rifle and my parts.  They should arrive on the 15th.

My barreled action with the new barrel arrived today. This is 50-95. Barrel slugs at 0.512 with a 1/32 twist. Barrel install and finish are well done. As well as the winchester stamping and caliber (in the correct spot). Hand guard fits and matches up to the nose cap. I was worried about this.

Barrel is in the white so now onto the bluing side of things. I am going to redo all the parts in a rust blue.

So this will close the chapter/thread on this part of my rifle redo. Ill follow up on my loads in my "saga thread".

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Finally got the rifle all reassembled. When I got the barrel back i had to remove it from the action to blue it. I was going to rust blue the parts myself, but the rifle arrived when I'm in the midst of a summer long kitchen remodel project. So I found someone who would rust blue it for me. Took them less than a week.

I got rid of the original sights and put on a Marbles Bullseye and a green front sight. Why?  So I can see them. I'm all done being a "thread counter".

Heading out to the range tomorrow for a test run.

I'd like to send pictures, but even an individual photo exceeds 400 kb.

Once I got the barrel and action back, it was top notch. I got pretty anxious, mostly because I'm dealing with an unknown and they had my rifle.  If it was just a barrel, I wouldn't have been so persistent.
