Homemade Dragoon box

Made this box for my Uberti 2nd. model Dragoon
Made the knife also from a horseshoe file,handle was from a White tail I shot.

how many hours did it take? Is it walnut? What is the finish ?

In my opinion, a good wooden box gives the BP revolver a new status. Visitors get really impressed when they see it.

By what I see is it a practical box to take to the range with all the tools needed for BP shooting?
