Hello I am totallly Brand New to this all. Never been to a shoot but have always wanted to go. I have the cart ahead of the horse per this what I just read on this forum. It all started with me wanted a 45 SAA revolover. I was looking real hard at a COLT COWBOY but ran across a used USFA Rodeo. I could not believe the fit and finish I actually got it over the COLT. While at the gun shop picking up the Rodeo I got to talking to the owner and he was telling me all about CAS. Now I am bit and getting gear for the spring silly me found a Win 97 and  Marlin 1894. CAN wait to shoot. Nice Forum.

I just became interested in the sport my self this year, I can readily say I've run across the friendliest bunch of cusses I 've ever had the pleasure to meet at CAS shoots.

Welcome to CAS City and to CAS Jim.  Sounds as though your getting a good start on your guns but don't hold off going to watch a match until you get all your gear together.  You'll get more help than you know what to do with from the people you meet at a match.
