Since you are new, you may not be aware of the stickies postings right above the standard posts.  There are stickie posts for loads on each of the different 1876 calibers.  A lot of good info to read.  For the 45/75 there are presently 10 pages of postings.  Here is a direct link for you:::   https://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php?topic=52208.0

I am certain you can find something that you would be interested in, depending on your powder (availability) and bullet weights, you intend to use.

Enjoy!

Just found these, it appears that they still are available.   47 rounds of New 348 Winchester Brass in Winchester plastic bag and Yellow Winchester box.. $95.00 TYD,

These are listed on the Swappin and Sellin section of the castboolits forum.  See link to listing:::

Good luck if these can get you started in forming the 45/75 casings you need.

Wild Willi:
One of my favorite loads for my 45-75 is from Ken Waters book on loading.  It is using 2400 rifle powder and at 22.0 grains.  I put a small tuft of kapok on the powder to hold that stuff on the primer.  i have never had any problems with this load and continue to use it.  The other load that seems to work in my rifle is 72.0 grains of Swiss 1½ Black powder.  Here again, my rifle likes both of these loads.  As far as cases goes I use 50-90 Sharps brass with no problems.  Some of the first stuff, tho, I had to turn down the rims on my lathe so they would chamber but with the new stuff,  all works. Hope this will help you out.  By the way, in closing, The alloy that I use, I got off the back of a box of original factory ammo and that is 16:1 ratio.  I use it and my rifle seems to be happy with it.

I use 50-90 cases and load with 23 grains of Lovex DO60 behind an Accurate Arms 320 grain bulletvand find this very accurate out to 200 yards.

I noticed the other day Starline has 348 Winchester and 50 Alaskan in stock. Might be a good time to stock up if you are getting into the 45-75 game because I don't look for any real 45-75 to be available anymore.
