Colt New Army Special pattern

I was contacted by a guy out of state who wants me to make a holster for a Colt New Army Special. I think the name was changed in 1927 to Police Positive. In any event, I can't find a blue gun or a gun to pattern off of. Does anyone know where to find a pattern or an idea? I don't think the holster needs to be wet formed or anything. I was wondering if a 6" revolver, K frame maybe would work???

The New Army Special was replaced by the Army Special--which later renamed the Official Police.  If I needed a gun to build to, I'd see if an OP would work.  A K-frame Smith is not quite the same

Perhaps I can be of assistance,  I have two originals holsters 

1st is 1929 Bauer Brothers Duty holster that was with the 1919 NP positive in my collection.

the second is a Railway Express Agency, holster and revolver from circa 1937.

It occurs to me, the holster pattern you seek is the 1903 Military ?

Something along the line of the first holster pictured. Nothing fancy. Even the flap holster would work. I think I may have to find a gun similar and use it.
