Site recomendation for model 94 Winchester

I have a post 64 that needs some work. One of the upgrades needed, is a new site setup. It has the big blocky blade in front, typical ramp in back. Being ugly is bad enough, but I'm older, and can't quite see the rear site, front site, and the target. Just 2 out of the 3. I tried a peep site on my boys AR, and that helped. I just don't know what the options are, but I did see some that were very pricey.

Lyman makes a model that mounts on the rear of the receiver that really helped me. Model 66 reciever sights.

How does it mount to the receiver? Does it take a hole being drilled, like a scope mount?

No, there are screws up near the hammer that you take out and use the provided ones to place sight on the receiver.

I had to remove the old rear sight to get a clear picture of the front thru the peep.
