Just curious how this works. If you shoot with a group that is a recognized NCOWS member. If you join that group is that YOUR home posse? Then could a group of people band together to form a posse independent of the main club? Not saying we are planning to do this.

Yes to both questions.  You can change your home posse affiliation if you want.

Because NCOWS posses who's membership is 100% NCOWS members receive a liability insurance beniefit for the club. An NCOWS member has to declare which posse they will be counted on for insurance purposes.
