Had to use a modern nylon tent this year since Bob was unable to come (I usually use his extra pyramid tent).  The Little Woman's "Hotel tent", with doggie door no less, held up exceptionally well during both storms with no water penetration the first night and minimal penetration through said "doggie door" during second go-around (about one cup which ended up in my boots).  What idiot engineers a doggie door into a tent?

Quickfire's pyramid tent has withstood every storm that Custer Co. has thrown at it,  along with a pretty wild night in Wyoming. It stood the test during Del's "mini tornado"(hallucination?) although I chickened out and sat in the pickup during the height of the storm. That big old center tent pole violently shaking a couple feet from my head caused me to RETREAT!

It is far better to remain silent, and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt!

Hi, those people work for MARKETING and aren't actually engineers.
Trust me.

Well, (okay, pun warning) pulled the trigger and ordered a Springfield Trapdoor Rifle, a Pederosoli.  I will try and remember for long distance you have to hit that first target 3 times before moving to the next one.   Seriously, the first shot dispatched it, the other 2 would have been total overkill.

I did not take a lot of pics, but have some of the area with no people.  (first 2 had a bit of manipulation to hide as much 21st century as I could.

So explain why me tea bags went into the direction the storm was coming from?  As well as the eggs, had you opened your eyes and looked out instead of hiding under the dash you might have seen it also. ;D ::) :P
