How do you do cartridge loops?

I do all of my stitching by hand, and there is a lot of stitching in a belt. Just saying...

If I were to make woven loops, I'd do them the way Johnny shows in his illustration. It's all about what you will be satisfied with when you're done.

I do strictly woven loops. I use 4-5oz and compress/stretch it with a cobbler's hammer. I dampen the loop strip slightly and use dummies. Never let the loops dry with cartridges in them. Allow the belt to naturally curve as you weave the loops and don't force it flat.

Only thing is if you glue them, you lose one of the advantages of woven loops, the ability to tighten them, change from one caliber to another or easily replace the loops. I don't see any reason to do that and it seems it would problematic in the weaving process.
