Miroku 73 carbine ring staple attachment?

Does anyone have knowledge of how the Miroku saddle ring staple is attached? Peened, or nut?

I dont have my good screwdrivers available and dont want to borrow screwdrivers to take it apart unless I know the staple can be removed easily.

Unfortunately .... I got nuthin.  Have not yet removed a Miroku SRC Butt Stock.  No Help.
