Thanks for the show of support Crow :-)

Well, I did find the ATF Orange Book, where it says one does not need a license to manufacture explosives for
personal use. However, "manufacturing explosives"  really kinda goes beyond the scope of CAS City.

There are several pyrotechnic forums where they discuss this, amateur fireworks, and amateur rocketry...
and every month there is at least one post about "a terrible accident" or "a sad death".

I don't think we want that here.

I did make a last post with links to the Mad Monks Musings and to the thread on Castboolits.
Those interested can pursue the discussion over there!

Last night I had pm'd pinto to stand by as I would send him some links to good sites. And I reached out to greyhawk...
Well looks like teenager pintothegreat has no patience or something... he deleted his youtube and deleted his CASCity account,
now he shows up as a "guest" and I can no longer PM him.
I really think he needs a mentor and needs to learn safety and patience.
perhaps he did not learn as much during the covid shutdown as he thinks.

While I didn't start this thread to be a rehash or continuation of the one "that guy" started and the Professor locked (forgive me Professor), but I was thinking along the same lines as you 'greyhawk'. I guess what got me curious right away was the statement that all commercial BP was "slow and weak", that "you could watch it burn" compared to the home brew. HUH? Since 1972, 48 years of shooting BP, I've never seen any commercial BP burn slow or you can watch it burn. You can watch it burn, but its gone in an instant, not a slow burn as with smokeless. Couple of other things also, no real need to mention, I don't know if OP was fake or not, but something IMO was awry from the get-go!
