River City John

Here's a few, Slim. Maybe you could play around with them.
"I was born by the river in a little tent, and just like the river I've been running ever since." - Sam Cooke
"He who will not look backward with reverence, will not look forward with hope." - Edmund Burke
". . .freedom is not everything or the only thing, perhaps we will put that discovery behind us and comprehend, before it's too late, that without freedom all else is nothing."- G. Warren Nutter

How about other essentials... Like tangle foot🤷‍♂️😆 I have a draft version underway for a correct Overholts label. But, maybe someone has this
one covered.  PowerPoint is a pretty good tool for scratch building labels... images/clip, etc art can be imported, rotated, overlayed, etc.

I'm sure I have a variety of old labels, just not the one I really wanted for my period Full Measure Quart bottle.

Regards, Slim

I for one would love to see/read what other items folks have reproduced, and what they're wrapping the labels around. This has been a fascinating thread so far.

Major 2

RCJ was my inspiration and in some cases my go to, for the labels I produced.
Some I found, in particular my Milsurp online or elsewhere.
Like some of you I wanted the ammo boxes for my reloads to mimic the era or eras I am shooting.

I don't go as far as some in power matching, I download and shoot at 50 yards or so.
Trailboss 75-80% + or - depending on the milsurp's caliber and lead bullets Hi-tec coated @ approx. original weights and I get harmonious results and don't beat up my 3/4 century shoulder.

when planets align...do the deal !

Major 2

Here are some for the WW1 trench and CW exhibit at the Museum

Coffinmaker

I'm not much for Tintypes, but when I found myself in need, Major 2 fix'd me up with some fine as Frog Hair "Steampunk" labels for my cartridge boxes.  The Major may have one or two on hand for photographic presentation to the masses.
