Found this for $165 last week, a Remington Model 11 in 16 Gauge. Even has a Polychoke! Ran a box of light field stuff through it today, sweet gun. Even with that long tube, it may get to Zoot!

My dad hunted with a  12ga Polychoked mod 11 for many years. We called it ?the slam hammer?.

I cut the barrel of my Model 11 down to 20 inches.
I like that name "Slam Hammer"!

I think the slam hammer got its name because IIRC it would lock open after the last shot and slam home when the action release was pushed.

I shot my Browning 12ga today in the Prohibition catagory at our cowboy match today, it did fairly well.
