I found a new in the box Russian 12ga Baikal MP220F Hammered Shotgun for 375.00
So I bought it .
I needed a good real hammered Shotgun to  Shoot with my Henry 1860 And My 1860 Cap Guns .
It is a little stiff but it does have Choke Tubes in it .
It pulls  up  great to my shoulder.

I was looking at the Cimarron  TNT Copy of the Colt .
But I really did not care for the feel of the Cimarron Chinese  Colt shotgun .
And I did not care for the Chinese J2000 Hammered Shotgun .

I know there is NO more Russian Shotguns coming in any more right now .
Just wondering if any of you have experience with this Russian Hammered Shotgun ?
Thank you .

Yep  :)  And allow me.  First a disclaimer.  Had I seen it first, all you would have seen was a puff of smoke and an empty spot where it was.

The Balkal Hammer gun is hell for stout, very reliable and very well made.  Be very judicious what and where you work to smooth things up.  Leave the Hammer Springs ALONE.  Should you break something or screw something up, you will play hell finding parts for it.  Think unobtaineum.

The Cimarron reproduction of the 1878 Colt is a really tough shotgun.  If however, you don't like it, you don't like it.

If you don't own a boat, you don't have a valid use for a J2000.

Thanks Coffenmaker .
I not a speed demon  .
So I will just massage it a little bit.
But leave it mostly stock .
