Velocity Standard-New Hot Topic for 2006??

I dunno, Coop.  Got me a Buntline with an 18" barrel........  Wait, TWO Buntlines with 18" barrels 'n I ain't touched a target yet.

Arcy,   I was just making a wise crack about using a Buntline with the targets.   But the rifle targets got moved so close last match that they were almost equal in distance to the pistol targets....my main point was "Fire"   "Then duck"  the ricochette

When ya get down to it, the rifle throws 'em out at a higher velocity than the pistols do.  Velocity is lost as soon as a bullet leaves the barrel.  Closer rifle targets bust a bullet up more than a closer pistol target.

Worst I been hurt was with improperly mounted pistol targets.  Cut my cheek wide open.

Wrote stages where ya shot pistol targets wth the rifle.  No injuries reported.
