Bat 2919

A touch of flat black paint on just the back edge of the front sight will work wonders on a sunny day.

Baltimore Ed

Here it is with the horn grips. The narrow hammer, coarse slide stop and teardrop thumb safety have been replaced with blued 1911 parts. I'm not going to replace the trigger. Next thing will be to get the blued parts nickled. So far it's been 100% reliable. Shooting duelist of course, but it shoots low to me, have to aim at the top of the target. Not the sjght picture I prefer.

Nice additions.  I'd want to nickle those parts, too, but with those grips it does look sort of interesting.

I always wanted a Nickel plated 1911 in 38 super! Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes the shine of that pretty nickel sparkle!
