A very good friend of mine, Beartooth Billy had this beautiful Coat made for himself from six deer hides.  He brain tanned the hides himself and fashioned this coat after one of Buffalo Bill's. Annie Hilman of Leather Originals did the sewing and fabrication.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Mogorilla

NICE!  Looks great!   As a kid it was rumored I would only wear items that had fringe.   Would love to get one made, but I think I would need to take down a moose.  Back to the gym.  Ha.

That's some beautiful work. What a fine jacket AND he tanned the hides himself. That's the way it was done when the country was young. It's well worth the effort he put out.  8)
