As per my other thread of acquiring a Browning 1886 rifle, while waiting I'm loading up some BP round to try. Got some Goex FF and some Swiss 11/2F to try. The Goex I measured 65 grains thru a 24" drop tube, topped with a .030 John Waters wad, the bullets is a Montana Precision Swaging 405 gr FN, .458 sized lubed with SPG. Will do the same with the Swiss.

Bummed, me too, haven't shot them yet. Having shoulder problems. I'll be sure to post results when I get them.

make sure that shoulder is well healed and the Doc signs off on shooting off it.  Would be terrible to re-injure or destroy a rebuild job.  I was cleared to shoot something like 4 months after getting shoulder fixed happily it was my left shoulder.  Being left handed and right eye dominant shoot rifles off the left and handguns primarily with the left hand. Was actually much longer than 4 months before I could hold a 7.5 inch Ruger Vaquero old or new model up for more than a few seconds at arms length.
