A very BIG "THANK YOU!" to all concerned for convincing western artist Jack Sorenson for wrangling Jim Boecke into posing for yet another Winter Issue cover of THE SHOOTIST, it was truly magnificent!
Yup, I can't hardly fathom how Jack was able to get Jim to hold still long enough to set on a saddle in that pose with a full Santa rig and bag of toys for little girl and boy cowpokes, riding downhill to boot!
Jim certainly looks the part and belies the image with aplomb, probably has a dried plum stuck in his pocket for a snack, no doubt.
Well, anyway, it was a great cover and I for one am hoping that Jim & Jack will make it 3 in a row for the Winter Issue of 2020!
