On November 11th, the WWII series "Band of Brothers" was rerun and I recorded them.

After "Saving Private Ryan", this is the best depiction of combat and all it's horrors.

Canada even got an honourable mention in the rescue operation of the Brit Airborne, our Engineers supplying and manning the boats.

I served with an Engineer who made six return trips under fire on another operation in Holland. He was bitter that they never got official recognition for their work in getting the infantry across the water.

Truly, "The Last Great Generation".
