Wiley Desperado

Here is a 1911 rig I recently finished.  This holster design holds the 1911 very nicely because of the long curved leather spine that almost cradles the entire pistol slide.  At the same time the pistol draws very nicely because the area around the trigger guard is exposed and the holster has a slight forward cant built into the belt loop design. This 1911 holster design was introduced by John Bianchi in the early 1960s.  The cartridge belt is a pattern from Will Ghormley's Old West Collection.
