I have an 1860 Spencer Carbine for sale. An early model W/O the Stabler cut off. It was re-blued at one point in its life and this is the way I purchased it about 15 years ago. Mechanically sound. The bore shows lands and groves but is pitted. As one would expect for a gun this age. The wood is in great shape. There is a chip out of the left side of the fore stock close to the receiver-as I have seen on many carbines from this era. There are no cartouches visable which leads me to believe the stocks were refinished as well. Research tells me it's within the serial number range for the 3rd. Michigan Vol. Cavalry, though not confirmed through documents (Thanks Two Flints). Asking $2,200.00.  Local preferred. I'm in NJ so all licenses and permits where necessary.

Reduced price $2,000.00
