My "Persona" is someone who is basically early War of Northern Agression.  I shoot an 1860 Henry in .44-40, have 3 1858 Remington .45 revolvers and am looking for a muzzle loading shotgun.  I have a Mule Ear 12 ga double but want to get a more correct shotgun.  I also have a .50 Sharps paper cutter that I would love to shoot in matches.   Are there any matches that allow the .50 caliber?

There are no classes as such.  But most NCOWS clubs would allow you to use your Sharps as long as it was downloaded to about 40 gr of BP.

Gomezy3k.
Most National and Regional shoots have a side match day for long range rifles. Your .50 would be a legal firearm for the black powder single-shot class.  You might also occasionally find a long range side match at a local posse.  I know that the Alabama Bushwhackers have an actual single-shot shooting class at their monthly shoots.

If downloaded and shot as a main match rifle it would really slow things down. In a 10 shot
stage most lever guns are probably around 15 seconds, and yours would probably be around
5 minutes, probably not too courteous to the other shooters, especially if its 90 degrees.
The long range side match seems like a much better fit. IMHO
