I have been using a pair of Open Tops in .45 for my main match guns.  However, I just got a beautiful new 7" Uberti Schofield in .45 from Taylor's to do an article on.  I LOVE IT and bought it!  I have a really nice Mexican loop for it just like Tom Selleck uses for his Schofield in Crossfire Trail.

He also carried an Open Top, and so will I...but I already have a pair of .44-40 SAAs as back up main match guns that I don't want to break up, so I don't need the extra Open Top as a fifth gun.  I have it listed on Gun Broker for cheap (buyer's choice of either 4.75" or 7.5".  Since it will be in an upcoming Cowboy Chronicle article, I will give the buyer a letter of authenticity once it is published.

Not really a for sale post, more of a heads up for those that have followed my Open Top adventures...

Just sold the 7.5" OT on Gun Broker for $400 plus shipping.  A good deal for the buyer, and OK with me, too.
