Just went to the annual High Sierra Shoot out in Railroad Flat, CA.  Three days of great fun and shooting.  Used the Open Topson all 12 of the stages and hit every target with the 1872s with the exception of one lousy target on the 10th stage.  I had a serious brain f@rt, and squeezed it off before coming down on the target after the recoil of the previous shot.  It flummoxed me so bad, I did a procedural and shot the wrong target with the next shot and got "P."

Ugh  Total operator error, and not the fault of the Open top.  My 200 grain .45 Schofield "Henry Duplication Load" with 7 grains Trail Boss really smacked the reactive targets with authority, and they (like my Henry) were dead nuts accurate.  I do love my .45 1872 Open Tops!
