Henry cleaning rod

I had 2 Henrys years ago and sold both. I ordered a New one from Cimarron and it's the way. My question is how deep is the compartment in the but stock that holds the cleaning rod as I never measured either one of the Henrys I had? I have had orignial 73 Wins. with the original rods in the butt stock, and the 4 sections of the rod were 7" each. I have one now I got years ago but it measures 8" each, and wondering if it will fit in the Cimarron Henry.

The hole in my Uberti looks to be about 7 1/2" deep.

Thank you Major, either I will get a different rod or drill the Cimarron out 1/2" or 3/4" I know there is a little room in the stock.

Received my Henry 4 piece cleaning rod set from butchsantiquegunparts.  Fast shipping. All steel with brass "head".  Slotted patch tip is hammer forged into the rod.  Fits perfectly in my Uberti Henry.
